My curse, My diseaseHe sat on top of a mountain at the edge of the desert looking across the valley from it's westernmost point.  Fools...  The young man thought as he looked down on the town.  They've been hunting me and my kind for 2000 years and haven't come close to understanding that they can't wipe us out.  He always hated shifting, but he did it now. He was shortly bearing the form of a wolf as he started carefully plodding down the mountain slope.  They said changing would get easier but I don't know if I'll ever enjoy it... I just hate being what I am I want to be one thing or the other not both.  As he reached the bottom his ears pricked up at a noise
Reflection of Ill fateShe walked down a hall into the room of mirrors. Samantha McIlroy looked around suddenly thinking that she'd heard a noise coming from somewhere. Unfortunately the sound faded so fast she couldn't pinpoint it's location as she spun around. She stood in the center of the room surrounded on all sides by mirrors seeing only her reflection when one of them began to display an image of swirling black and white lines.
