ABILITIES
• Multiple Breath weapons: Kesson can employ acid, lightning, salt water, fire, poison and cold breath weapons as situations call for them. He was only born with fire but developed the rest over the course of his life through practice and mystical study.
• Heightened Senses: His hearing and sight is mystically enhanced and he can project his will when using World Eye but he otherwise has the standard senses among dragon kind.
• Mystical Arts Study and manipulation: Having no interest in militaria, Kesson devoted himself to the arcane arts delving deeper and deeper into magic, lore and languages learning Latin, French, Portuguese, Spanish, German, Polish, Norwegian, Swedish, Finnish, Danish, Irish, Russian, Italian, Romanian, Chinese, Japanese, Korean, Vietnamese, Tagalog and a host of others Dwarven, Elvish, Abyssal and Infernal among them. His expertise has made him the consummate diplomat among the societies of the Earth and the races that live here. He tries to be patient, respectful and understanding and for the most part he succeeds, but he does have a temper and will not stand by if someone he cares for is mistreated.
• Black Diamond Skin: Because he requires time to cast spells he’s found he needs to defend himself effectively so he developed a spell to manipulate the toughness of diamonds and applied the result to his scales giving him the appearance of being covered in glass. He covers every part of his body except his wings with this effect to increase the toughness of his scales and he removes the effect to fly making that the time he’s most vulnerable to attack.
• World eye: This is the ability to view parts of the world that he is not present in and allows Kesson to glean information about situations that may need moderation. It does take concentration and gives those who don’t understand what occurs, the impression that he is being absent-minded or callous and rude. Such is not and never has been the case, however, and he is usually capable of picking up right where he leaves off when the situation he is viewing is resolved. It is not an ability he uses often because of the amount of energy and skill required.
• Dragon Physiology: Kesson is taller than most dragons and slightly thinner in form. He is by no means weak, though, and should not be underestimated as many in the past have learned the hard way. The threads of his power form three intertwining vine rings around his torso below his heart and above his stomach in addition to the four lengths of patterns running along his arms. His scales are perfect black and the varying blue glow from the vine patterns accents them when he’s preparing to cast a spell. He uses magic for a lot of travel over land, he travels through water in a bubble of air that adjusts to pressure so he go all the way to the bottom of the ocean if he needs to, but when he needs to fly he uses his wings and can move through the air at the speed of sound at the height of his ability, though this is sometimes enhanced by magic as well.
• Born to Evil: Kesson was born to a servant of Tiamat, as the high priestess to the goddess, Kesson’s mother did her best to keep him loyal to the goddess but Kesson simply did not have the will to serve Tiamat or respect his mother’s wishes. He spent all of his time reading and learning as much magic as he possibly could even practicing it himself in his spare time. Some of the spells called for blood and he complied with the instructions written in the books as they required but quickly found he didn't have a proper appreciation for the effect that those particular spells manifested. This led him to move toward the more benevolent class of spell-casting and caused his exile from the society he was born in. He does not live a solitary life inviting people of all races to meet and discuss politics, territory, business transactions and much more in his castle.
